Whitcomb family.

This lady…this family!  Well, I just can’t say enough about them.  Our friendship has traveled the globe and I couldn’t be more excited their adventurous lives plopped them in Utah for a minute.  We spent the afternoon reliving the past and making a few more memories for us to look back on.   Love this family!

Daryl and Jennifer

I love when the background of a photo seems to match the couple quite perfectly…almost as if it somehow told part of their story.  Daryl and Jennifer found this working ranch for us to spend our evening together, with cowboy boots and all, capturing a few of these…

Thanks Daryl and Jennifer, I loved taking them!  Jennifer’s bridals are soon to come so stay tune for those!

Gymnastics…the glory days.

I’d like to think I live in the present…though truthfully, some days it almost feels hard not too.  I scurry around the house in pure mommy survival mode hoping quite simply to make it through the day wearing the same outfit I started off with.  My calendar blinders are up, thus forcing me to not peek too far ahead for fear my under slept body will just crumble at the bottom of the now extended list of things to do, with even planning what’s for dinner to be considered looking too far into the future.  Yep, I’d like to say I live in the present.  But admittedly…every once in a while you have a “throwback Thursday” of sorts where, for a moment, you get to relieve the glory days.

Gymnastics equals the glory days.  The days when I could turn, twist and flip my little self in the most ridiculous sort of ways and not immediately think “I’m gonna feel this tomorrow” or leave me quickly reaching for an ice pack to ease my now achy woes.  So it was extra sorts of fun for me to work with lovely ladies over at Tooele Gymnastics Academy and have a little throwback of my own.

Um, hello…adorable!  Look at this little ladies bob! I could seriously eat this one up!

Thanks, I had a blast spending the day with you!

Pinch proof.

Does anyone truly know where this whole pinch-the-person-who-absentmindely-forgot-to-wear-green-on St. Patrick’s Day-thing started…I mean really?  Or is it simply one of those holiday traditions that despite knowing any sense of true origin or have any intelligible reasons as to why it should continue, the pinching persists…and so do the welts on my arm (I have genuine feelings of regret in teaching my little peeps this snippet of the St. Patty’s day traditions…my poor arms just can’t take the madness anymore).

Despite the continued tradition, there will be no pinching this adorable family that’s for certain…they’re quite pinch proof!

Photo shoots can be rather quiet with all that smiling-tell-your-mouth-hurts going on…so I’m pretty sure I’ll be bringing these two ladies in tow to all succeeding sessions.  They single handling serenaded us to Frozen…quite perfectly I might add, they didn’t miss a beat or lyric (let’s just say that if I wasn’t tone deaf or afraid of scaring away my clients…I’d be singing away too)!  All the while sitting there with their golden locks and flashing those ironic baby green eyes rather naturally.

This stud of a dude was just that…a stud.  Seriously how is it possible they all have such incredible green eyes?!

Thanks Jenny and Jeff for letting me work with you’re pinch proof family, I loved it!
